The band that became MURDER DISCO X later on, TIMETOSUFERPOWER, had a track on the Plot compilation which was released in 1994.
Another band on this compilation was CORROSIVE, hailing from the doomed evil depths of the Black Forest.
Now, 15 years later we share a record with CORROSIVE again.
Also on this compilation we find our friends from Pula, NULLA OSTA. We played in Pula for the first time 10 years ago. 5 years ago we played Beograd for the first time, the gig was organized by the Subwar Collective, one member being Nesha and now we share this record also with his band, NAKOT.
I really like the way life's paths are constantly woven into each other...

Plastic Bomb Fanzine #63:
Well done!

DIRECT HIT ZINE Blog february 2008:
Phew! Where on earth do I start with this crucial comp? 36 songs, from their releases: SUPERCRUST 7", FEEDING OF THE 500 7", Split LP with JILTED, 1998 Demo and Comp releases MORE WORLD - LESS BANK, WELCOME TO HELL, MISSING IN ACTION, MAXIMUM SUBJECTIVITY and some unreleased tracks, along with covers of DISCHARGE, VARUKERS, SOCIETY DOG, VERBAL ABUSE and VOID. Now, despite all those tracks from different releases, numerous line-ups, the wonderful thing about MURDER DISCO X is that all the songs here sound consistent, pent up fury and anger from start to finish. Great recording quality from start to finish, which is a big plus to my ears. Exciting fast and furious 80's styled hardcore, with great d-beat sensibilities and rip roaring songs. No cannon fodder here, all highly charged incendiary, adrenalin pumping core to the max. Memorable songs that make me wanting to play it again, again and again. All the lyrics are printed in their full glory and boy Ralf is an angry man, he's got a lot of interesting things to say, doesn't hold back and I agree with his ideals. Various pics and the M.D.X. story (so far) are included. A great CD that will appeal to the hardcore purists and cruties and anyone else with good sense and taste.

MAXIMUMROCKNROLL #275:
Hard-as-nails full-lengther by this bunch of old timers. I liked the 7"s but am into this LP way more. Sounding a lot like some DISCHARGE influenced bands of the early '90s - DEPRIVED, RESIST, SUBSTANDARD etc - but with some added pace and Japcore leads, a modern comparison maybe a more sedate SEVERED HEAD OF STATE (who shares a member with this band). I lived for shit like this 15 years ago an it still sounds great now. Get this.
WM Rage
http://www.neufutur.com/ Webzine:
This is an all-star band if I ever heard one; Murder Disco X has members of Severed Head of State, Cluster Bomb Unit and Detestation. Of course, there have been a number of bands that have sucked it up royally that could be called "All-Star" (including acts like the Damn Yankees). However, there is no need to worry with Murder Disco X, as "Robots" starts off this disc with simple but intense guitar riffs and screamed-out vocals.
The earliest stages of this disc are what really solidify the band as deserving of continued listening. This is not necessarily crust, but really seems to follow the Bad Religion brand of guitar rock and a greater acceptance of thrash metal for tracks on "Ground Zero: Stuttgart". The band can work in the tightest confines as "Wanna Play?’s runtime does not break a minute without the band falling pray to a syncopated song. The band can re-use guitar riffs with only the slightest alterations and completely change the context in which they are in to both keep the tempo of the disc up as well as to keep a common thread going. There are a few covers that individuals that are in the know will snap up; both Terveet Kadeet (El Enaa Koskaan Sotaa) and Arm the Insane (Self Destruct) are given valuable time on this disc. Twelve tracks run their couse in under twenty minutes; the replay value of this disc is amazing and songs like "Torture Inc." allow for a catchy guitar line to knock the listener’s legs out from under them and then the multi-vocal attack to wait on them when they are done. Ending the disc with "Rotten Inside", Murder Disco X really add another brand of fury to their recordings that does not subside even when the guitars cease to innovate in the spaces between the choruses.
Each of the tracks on "Ground Zero Stuttgart" come out with a different approach from what most of the acts on Profane Existence try to do; the band seems to have more in common with Hellacopter and Gluecifer than Disrespect. "Self Destruct" is really crafted into Murder Disco X’s sound well; the guitars seem to be a mixture of Murder Disco X and the original track but this minor deviation really makes for a different sound on the disc. Fun throughout and with an intensity that is matched by a small few.
MURDER DISCO X-Ground Zero Stuttgart (Profane Existence, CD)
Mudering disco, eh? Fine with me. I was one of the original "disco sucks" guys. This band have nothing to do with dance music, unless your idea of dancing is going in a big circle and jumping around like a maniac. Shredding hardcore punk crafted in Germany by a multi-national group of people who played in such bands as Cluster Bomb Unit, Severed Head of State and others. Not really crust-core, not really d-beat but inspiration comes from that. The songs are straight-forward and powerful, as well as occasionally catchy. Rants against militarism, religion, development and even at potshot at so-called conservative punks (hell yeah... fuck 'em). The kind of album I'll keep going back to when I need a good shot of adrenalin.
Al Quint
Another band that has been around for more than ten years, and I hear them for the first time now. This band from Germany might have flown under my sights but is in focus now. Punk that plays a straight forward power brand of punk. Kind of gave me the feeling of listening to the first MDC record or hearing Negative Approach. But also has the sound ‘88 hardcore that came out of the East Coast. The power that comes thru the speakers is undeniable. Two covers of Terveet Kadet and Self Destruct might go unnoticed if you were not familiar because they made it their own. Each song has a variance to make it an easy listen from start to finish. I personally felt there were no fillers to be heard and I continued to flip the record over and over many times before I went to listen to something else. If they ever tour the West Coast, I am so there!

Plastic Bomb Fanzine #63:

MAXIMUMROCKNROLL #254:
Germany's MURDER DISCO X are classic straightforward with no-frills crust-inspired hardcore. Thick riffs, burly rhytm section, you can understand the vocalist, speedy tempo without going to blur. The lyrics, in both English and Italian [ Ralf: huh? ], are of a political nature. They remind me of NAILED DOWN. [...] JILTED, on the flip, hail from Italy, and are way more manic and intense in their delivery, ala the classic Italian hardcore style. Fast fast tempo, screamed vox, heavy and pulverising, in your face core. If WRETCHED were inspired by crust and Japanese hardcore. Damn.
WM Rage
PROFANE EXISTENCE Magazine:
A lethal combination of hardcore punk and thrash can be found in this split LP between Italy's Jilted and Germany's Murder Disco Experiences. This is my first encounter with Jilted, but they really have the same sort of angry thrash intensity of Los Crudos. Murder Disco Experience have a little more of the traditional punk rock sound [...] and really tear it up here. All wrapped up in a gatefold cover, this release just screams that is this is what high quality, angry punk rock should be like.
SHORT, FAST+LOUD! #13::
This is one arse-wreckung split LP from the fine punx at Agi-Punk in Italy. JILTED have had two distinguished EP's previously but this new stuff is smoking hot hardcore calling attention to Italia's early days. Fast, hyper core with screamed vocals like NEGAZIONE. Fucking fantastic nmatreila on all tracks
Germany's MDX od their side justice with some vibrant hardcore, heavy on the early US influence. Pretty damm good for a debut (I think), punchy, uptight and ready to rumble like all good hardcore should be played. Shit, they do a SOCIETY DOG cover... not too many of those floating around out there. This record is the surprise of the issue.

This EP includes four songs of fast and fun hardcore - the fast stops way short of blur, but it gets your pulse going, for sure; the fun is in the punchy breaks and snotty (English) lyrics. Anti: hard drugs, religion, jocks and assholes. Pro? I'm not sure. Thumbs up.
PROFANE EXISTENCE #42:
This band is CRUST AS FUCK heavy! Oh wait a minute... I just released it I was playin' it at 33 instead of 45... OK, much better now! These guys play pretty a bar-bones style of hardcore punk that is both powerful and catchy. Their lyrics are well-written, but with an underlying sense of humour (the cover and the title being a take-off on the classic CRASS album Feeding of the 5000). They actually remind me a lot of DS-13 in many ways and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up on Havoc Records one day.
REASON TO BELIEVE #10:
Oh yeah - where have I been? I missed the other 7" and this one fuckin rules. The guitars have great tunes, each song is emorable and works really well and they're not trying to break any speed records but they certainly ain't slow. Good sarcastic hardcore but don't call them crusties as apparently they occasionally wear non black shirts (but they would appeal to crusties I'm sure) and like a laugh.

Debut single from these German punx-who play some very ripping yet tuneful hardcore. Fast paced with enough melody to keep your head nodding along, yet not so much so that it doesn't sound pissed. Reminds me a bit of RESIST colliding with SIN DIOS on the Autobahn. I'm down.
Mike Thorn
MAXIMUMROCKNROLL #238:
MURDER DISCO X from germany is a four-piece that includes one of the guys from SEVERED HEAD OF STATE. The music is ripping fast punk that is packed with lots of catchy breaks and great pissed-off vocals. The production is great and you can hear everything very clearly. Their lyrics seem to be pretty straightforward, going after things like poser bands, cell phones and war. These guys are bound to start a circle pit frenzy in a town near you. Killer stuff!
Rob Coons
PROFANE EXISTENCE #40:
I'm not quite sure what their name is all about, but they know how to rock! Old school style hardcore that moves along pretty quick, complete with catchy, moshy breakdowns and a lot of stop and go action. I like the production, as you are able to hear everything that's going on. The lyrics are an attack on cliche fashion "punks," the tobacco industry, and war.
Joe
This is great!!! OK, on hearing this you may think that this is nothing exceptionally new in terms of sound and even lyrics, but what MURDER DISCO X do is some extremely welldone hardcore punk that is pissed off, with strongly opinionated lyrics and five great tunes that rock your world! Musically, MURDER DISCO X have a Swedish influenced sound that is fast and furious with some good riffs to acocompany lyrics that deal with subjects such as 'mobile phones', 'war', not being synthetic and believing that we can try to change "their" world rather than destroying ourselves. Positively fucking punk!!!
Steve Hyland
Slug & Lettuce #73:
I can't help but know this as the German band that Kelly (from Detestation/Masskontroll/Severed Head) is playing drums on. They've got quite a tongue-in-cheek style with the lyrics. They're quite good, but kinda taking the piss out of everything as well. They don't wanna be called crust. Their sound is heavy and driving with a galloping energy and a thick sound that has it's occasional break-down dance grooves and funny choruses. Really - this is awesome.
Chris
HEARTATTACK #36:
It is a refreshing change of pace to get a solid record with a good sound and amusing personality for review. Murder Disco Experience plays hardcore punk with a crust influence. Their songs are heavy and catchy, and the whole record goes by a little too quickly. Fittingly for a band hoping to not take themselves too seriously, in their lyrics they deal with serious issues as well as annoying things they like to make fun of.
Lisa Oglesby
Punk-Planet #54:
Superfast hard-core songs with vocals that are almost growled. The songs hit hyperspeed right away and end before you can digest it at all. Not my thing, but fans of this style would probably like these germans.

Twelve band compilation on Germany's Flowerviolence Records. It goes fast, 45 rpm, one song from each band (except DS-13, who typically put three songs past you before you even realize they're on here) all fast and furious, but there's enough variety to keep things interesting. Best bands are (of course...) DS-13, DURANGO 95, PEACE OF MIND (the most melodic band on here - thought that's not saying much), DIAVOLO ROSSO, and MURDER DISCO EXPERIENCE who are just fucking brutal. This is a good look at the more hardcore/political German scene.
